Deviation Actions
Expect a flood of deviations this weekend as I post all the pony figures that have gotten finished in my absence. We're finally reaching the end of Ye Olde Commission list, after which point we'll be retiring from 3D-printed commissions. I know a lot of people are bound to be disappointed by that, but honestly, it's been coming for a long time. Look at how badly our rate slowed down after we both started working full-time (not that we were fast before...) I've gotten a lot of messages about commissions the past few months and have tried to turn them down politely, but I think it's time to put it to rest. And ultimately, I think it's for the best.
But I'll still be around, and taking on plenty of drawing commissions, as I want to devote more time to my artwork as I strive to become a comic artist one day. And any 3D printing I post from now on will largely be personal projects. Would you believe I've never made a print for myself? So weirdly enough, I might actually be more active on DA as a result, as I'll have finally pulled free of the backlog and jump forward into new projects.
As a finishing move, I plan to release a full breakdown of our 3D-printing process so everyone can know all the advancements we made, as well as how we achieved our level of quality. Competition isn't a concern anymore, so I want everyone to push their printing to be the best that it can be. I also plan to release some of the 3D models to the public for the first time ever, which has been in huge demand for years, but was never an option since our most profitable figures were reprints.
So thank you everyone for all of your amazing support, patience, and generosity over the years. It's been a crazy, stressful adventure, but I'm glad to be finishing it, and moving on to the next one.

Commission sale!
Hi everyone! I'm in a bit of a tight spot this month, and I'm looking to do some quickie commissions to fix that! Here are some examples!
Just $15 per character!
Throw me a note with the details / references, and I'll send you a paypal invoice. Please consider helping me out--it'd mean the world! If you can't afford it / aren't interested, then another way to help would be linking others to this journal post. Thank you!
Wow, okay, I need to post a status update!
I've been sending notes back and forth with a few of you, but that's no substitute for doing a full update on everything in the works.
This week:
Cellos, cellos, and more cellos. Three of them to be exact. Looking to have them all done in one fell swoop.
Shipping Mach and Discord. They were supposed to be shipped after New Years, but holiday travels left me rather ill and I fell behind schedule. Also I've never shipped a statue discord and I want to get it right.
Next week:
Painting Spitfire and Bonbon
Printing Apple Fritter
Week after that:
Modeling Alushy
Painting Littlepip
Printing APIP
As always, if you have any questions o
Moved in!
Rabid and I live together again! Finally our 3D printing work can resume! Man, I can't begin to talk about how frustrating that three-month separation was, but we're finally settled in, have all our tools and machines unpacked and set up, and are ready to get back into the swing of things.
The only casualties of the move were Mach's jacket, which suffered an acetone spill in transit. :B So that'll be the first thing printed at the new place. Also I'll be finally sending out the completed figures whose shipping was delayed by the move. Gonna have a lot of pics to post soon!
Some good news finally!
Next week Rabid and I will be moving back in together, which means the 3-month period of awkwardly attempting to collaborate on 3D Printing while 350 miles away from each other is finally over! That's also why I haven't made much progress over the last 2-3 weeks--finding a new place to live and prepping for moving has taken a lot out of me. x_x But things will finally be back to normal soon, and I can't begin to say how happy I am about that.

Hey I have a favor to ask, could you upload the 3d models that you use?
I'd hate for the models to be lost to the sands of time because you aren't 3d printing them anymore,
I'm sure that other people with 3d printers would love to take a crack at it.
Even if you sell the 3d models I would still like them to be available.
thanks-
