Hey guys.
I know it's been forever, but my life has sort of been flipped upside down and I needed time to sort things out. After getting the chance to discuss the situation to a couple of you who I've talked with already, I think I finally know the best way to explain everything.
Basically, as a result of getting a new job, I had to relocate suddenly. Five hours away from where I'd been living before. And I no longer live with Rabid. The past few weeks have been extremely chaotic as a result and I haven't had much time to work on the figures. We have spent a lot of time devising a plan for how we're going to continue our work in the coming months. Because it's going to be three months minimum before we're living together again, and we want to continue finishing commissions in that time. Considering the fact that I'll be able to visit every other weekend, our plan was for me to upload print files to our Dropbox, and for Rabid to print/sand them during the week. Then with airbrushing done on the weekend, I can take figures back with me to complete the details alone.
I tested this workflow last week with minor success. I was able to complete Scratched Disk. This week I'll be completing Evening Song and Keplily's Luna. Both Octavias will be airbrushed this week as well. And Nightmarity should be printed this week. I can't say how well it'll work in the future, but we're determined to get them all done.
However, this means we absolutely cannot handle any new orders at this point. Commissions are closed indefinitely. When we find ourselves living together again, we might continue to take a very select amount of only the most special orders. But other than that, the days of this being our living are over.
And I'm pretty okay with that. This'll give us time to move on to other projects. I think there's still a lot of 3D printing in our future, so in three months I think you can look forward to seeing a wider variety of stuff from us.
Thank you so much for everything.

Commission sale!
Hi everyone! I'm in a bit of a tight spot this month, and I'm looking to do some quickie commissions to fix that! Here are some examples!
Just $15 per character!
Throw me a note with the details / references, and I'll send you a paypal invoice. Please consider helping me out--it'd mean the world! If you can't afford it / aren't interested, then another way to help would be linking others to this journal post. Thank you!
It's been 3000 years...
Expect a flood of deviations this weekend as I post all the pony figures that have gotten finished in my absence. We're finally reaching the end of Ye Olde Commission list, after which point we'll be retiring from 3D-printed commissions. I know a lot of people are bound to be disappointed by that, but honestly, it's been coming for a long time. Look at how badly our rate slowed down after we both started working full-time (not that we were fast before...) I've gotten a lot of messages about commissions the past few months and have tried to turn them down politely, but I think it's time to put it to rest. And ultimately, I think it's for
Wow, okay, I need to post a status update!
I've been sending notes back and forth with a few of you, but that's no substitute for doing a full update on everything in the works.
This week:
Cellos, cellos, and more cellos. Three of them to be exact. Looking to have them all done in one fell swoop.
Shipping Mach and Discord. They were supposed to be shipped after New Years, but holiday travels left me rather ill and I fell behind schedule. Also I've never shipped a statue discord and I want to get it right.
Next week:
Painting Spitfire and Bonbon
Printing Apple Fritter
Week after that:
Modeling Alushy
Painting Littlepip
Printing APIP
As always, if you have any questions o
Moved in!
Rabid and I live together again! Finally our 3D printing work can resume! Man, I can't begin to talk about how frustrating that three-month separation was, but we're finally settled in, have all our tools and machines unpacked and set up, and are ready to get back into the swing of things.
The only casualties of the move were Mach's jacket, which suffered an acetone spill in transit. :B So that'll be the first thing printed at the new place. Also I'll be finally sending out the completed figures whose shipping was delayed by the move. Gonna have a lot of pics to post soon!
